The September Edition of Up Here magazine, is currently on newsstands and includes an illustration that I completed. The illustration is about scientists drilling in the Arctic to learn about the terrain that resides below the sea ice.

While this information graphic was a little less technical in content than I am used to, the elements still needed to represent the subject matter accurately. The largest challenge to the illustration was creating an under-water explosion effect. Ironically, it was also the most fun part!
Thanks to Up Here for also featuring me as a contributor for this edition of the magazine. It was a pleasure working with you.
